Mass Effect 3 Squad by MonkeyBeans Mass Effect 3 Squad by MonkeyBeans
We face our enemy together.

Download for full view!

Finally got around to finish the final ME lineup (: I might do a lineup with other ME characters (eg. Anderson, Joker, Shepard, spacehamster, etc.) if anyone is interested.

While these are a bunch of cool people, I really miss my team from ME2.

From left to right: Liara, Garrus, Tali, Ashley, Kaidan, EDI, James, Javik.

Such a big FU to the fans for not giving a bigger squad. Even worse, a squad member that has to be bought separately.

i understand why people are fed up about, but honestly - the ME2 squad was too big IMO. i loved each and every one of the characters, but i barely used half of them during missions. i'm not saying that'd i'd give up any of the ME2 squadmembers, but just that there was too much choice. it'd have been better if some characters were just part of your crew instead of your squad, like they did with samantha and steve in ME3. they're still well-developed, but aren't on shepard's squad.
although, if fighting the collectors would have required such a big squad, then why do you have such a small squad in ME3?

I can see your point. But wouldn't it have been great to get all of your members from ME1 and ME2 with the new ones in ME3 together for this epic battle. Or at least as temporary mates for their special missions.

yeah, i'd love to have some as temporary squad mates. like liara in the shadowbroker dlc. but that'd probably have cost too much time and money? :/ i'm glad they all had some sort of cameo though

Yeah. That was cool, anyway. ME3's not my favorite in the trilogy, anyway. That goes to ME2. It's the Empire Strikes Back of the franchise.

i liked ME3 well enough, but ME2 is indeed also my favorite. it feels much longer and has a better story (including the characters). ME3 just felt too fastpaced and i hate the fact that there aren't any more major places you could return to. in ME2 you had the citadel, tuchanka, illium, omega. in ME3 you had the citadel. yep.

And even then, I think the ME1 Citadel had more to do than the ME3 one. ME3 really is a rushed story. Combat is fun, but it doesn't make up for the botch of an ending. ME2 is the best.

woops, late reply! i tend to forget i have two seperate DA accounts.

yeah, the ME1 citadel had way more stuff to do and will always be the best citadel to me. the zakura ward in ME2 just didn't do it for me, i'm so used to walking around in the presidium and the wards markets. the ME3 citadel at least reminds me of the citadel again.
the ME3 combat is basically the ME2 combat system but slightly improved. i just don't really like the rushed story. sure, the galaxy is at war, but i don't get any satisfaction from rushing through a story and going on fetch quests.
ME2 really is the best game in the series. perhaps the whole collector plot isn't as important to the overall story as the reaper war or saren in ME1 but i still feel epic while playing the suicide mission. and i also really love the many many squad missions you had in ME2. sure, the main story had to suffer from that, but the character development is really well done in ME2 and i the character development itself plays a part in the suicide mission. the ME2 side quests were also really diverse and much better than anything in ME1 (those side quests were just so repetative ugh).

hah, can you tell i'm replaying the ME series again?

I found James and Ashley sort of useless for my playthrough, I always go for someone with powers biotic or tech.

yeah, same here. i find the soldier class to be the most boring anyways. although i never balance out my squad: i usually play as an engineer/infiltrator, but always tend to take garrus/tali/mordin with me. heehe <:
